Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a part-time in-home caregiver in the Avon area. Additional hours available. Starting pay is $18.00/hour with potential to reach $20.00/hour after becoming CNA-certified; free CNA class offered after 5 months if certified.

Positions include evening/ weekend shifts with weekly pay, PTO, and opportunities for education advancement. Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle for shift use.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must have own vehicle to use during shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with all personal care needs as needed.
• Assist clients at mealtimes and monitor eating habits.
• Ensure required documentation is complete and in compliance.
• Provide errands and transportation with own vehicle.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding each client.
