Job summary

Mentor Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring a Direct Support Professional / Caregiver for IDD services in Verona, PA. The evening shift runs Sun-Thurs 3pm-11pm. The role pays $16.00/hour with on-demand pay available and requires a valid driver's license.

You will support individuals with personal care, help them achieve goals, and assist with community activities while collaborating with a caring team. Sevita offers a full benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
