Job summary

Mentor Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a Direct Support Professional for IDD services in Pittsburgh (Plum), PA 15239. This full-time evening role runs Tue-Sat, 3pm-11pm, with pay $16.00 per hour and On-Demand Pay.

You'll support participants with personal hygiene, help with daily living, and assist them in community activities while promoting growth and independence. Vehicle required for some duties.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily cares.
• Support participants who have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Encourage participation in community activities and personal goal achievement.
