Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a registered nurse for the Evening shift in the Float Critical Care department at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey. This part-time ICU float role emphasizes clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, respond to clinical changes, and pursue ongoing education and ladder opportunities within a supportive, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Bachelors degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience.
• Experience with EPIC EMR or similar EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes, intervening when needed.
• Support ongoing professional development through continuing education and clinical ladder opportunities.
