Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVAC experience.
• EPA 608 Certification (or ability to obtain) preferred/required.
• Teaching, training, or mentoring experience is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable evening availability, 2 nights/week (4 hours/night).

Responsibilities

• Deliver evening instruction covering residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Teach refrigeration principles, theory, and hands-on practices.
• Prepare students for and administer training toward EPA Section 608 Certification.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans, demonstrations, and hands-on lab exercises.
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe, organized training/lab environment.
• Stay current with industry codes, standards, and best practices.
