Job Summary:

The Evening Housekeeping Manager supervises the overnight housekeeping team to maintain high standards for cleanliness, presentation, and safety. This leadership role includes conducting inspections, resolving late-night guest needs, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring a smooth handoff to the daytime management team. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing staff in a luxury hospitality environment.

• Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time / 5pm – 2am
• Pay Range: $58,000 – $68,000/year. Compensation is based on various factors.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support the second shift and overnight housekeeping teams, including guest room attendants, house attendants, and lobby attendants.
• Coordinate nightly cleaning assignments and public area rotations to ensure all spaces are clean, stocked, and secure.
• Respond promptly to late-night guest requests, deliveries, and housekeeping needs.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including PPE and chemical handling.
• Monitor linen usage and coordinate overnight laundry operations.
• Communicate maintenance issues, lost and found items, or safety concerns to relevant departments.
• Manage employee scheduling, breaks, and shift coverage.
• Train and coach team members to follow resort procedures and standards.
• Prepare and deliver shift reports and communicate overnight updates to leadership.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and OSHA safety standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Proficiency with housekeeping and scheduling systems (e.g., Nuvola) is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Flexible schedule with availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
