Job summary

Bath Area Family YMCA in Bath, ME is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper to keep the facility clean and sanitized. The role reports to the Facilities Director and offers 15-20+ hours per week with a competitive hourly wage of $16.00–$17.00.

You'll perform cleaning tasks in locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, window washing and supply replenishment. Eligibility for YMCA membership is included.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, YMCA members, and the public.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions, schedules, procedures.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas including locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Duties regularly involve mopping, dusting, vacuuming, trash and recycling removal, window washing, and refilling of supplies, paper products, soap dispensers, etc.
• Related tasks may also include light grounds-keeping, among other responsibilities.
