Job summary

Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings, Nebraska, is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper I to support the Environmental Services department. Schedule: 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., 3 days per week, with every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, treatment areas, and public/staff spaces, while promoting Mary Lanning values. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, organized, with strong attention to detail, and education of GED or high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies and equipment.
• Cleans/disinfects occupied patient rooms (and upon dismissals), patient restrooms, treatment rooms, etc.
• Removes soiled linen from occupied patient rooms.
• Cleans/disinfects patient equipment such as wheelchairs, floor carts, I.V. pumps, etc.
• Empties trash and vacuums carpet using proper equipment.
• Cleans public areas, staff areas, and areas impacted by spills or stains.
• Other duties as assigned.
