Job summary

Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings, NE is seeking a full-time Housekeeper I to perform Environmental Services duties in the Night shift (9:30 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.) with alternating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms and restrooms, handling linens, cleaning equipment, and maintaining public and staff areas in the Emergency Department. Ideal candidates are team‑oriented, organized, and detail‑minded, with a GED or high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• Full-time night shift with alternating weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies and equipment (cleaning/disinfecting).
• Clean/disinfect occupied patient rooms, patient restrooms, treatment rooms, etc.
• Remove soiled linen from occupied patient rooms.
• Clean/disinfect patient equipment such as wheelchairs, floor carts, IV pumps, etc.
• Empty trash and vacuum carpet using proper equipment.
• Clean public areas, staff areas and areas impacted by spills or stains.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:**Hours are 9:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. Also, every other weekend and every other holiday.
