Job summary

Courtyard Minneapolis Downtown is seeking a part-time Restaurant Server to take orders, serve guests, and uphold the hotel’s dining standards. You’ll be courteous, knowledgeable about offerings, and able to handle alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as needed.

The position operates 3:30pm-11:00pm with weekend shifts; benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, and travel discounts. E-Verify participation is noted for employment eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in a similar position with a full-service hotel or restaurant.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• TIPS training certification required within 30 days of hire date.
• Ability to work weekends and varied shifts.
• Knowledge of hotel services and local attractions helpful.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, retrieve and serve meals and beverages to guests according to hotel standards.
• Greet guests and provide courteous, accurate service with upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, and wine list.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned outlet and equipment.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and state liquor regulations.
