Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, experienced, and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Windsor, CT. This full-time evening position runs 3PM-11PM and pays $20 hourly. Weekends and holidays are required per business needs.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, painting, HVAC work, and responding to guest requests. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in hotel maintenance and a working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a hotel maintenance position.
• General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.
• One year of college or trade school in mechanical/electrical/technical disciplines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC.
• Responds to guest complaints in a timely manner.
• Fulfils work orders in a timely manner.
• Completes daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Other duties as assigned.
