Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Evening Houseperson at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. You will help maintain a welcoming, clean environment by performing light housekeeping duties and ensuring guest satisfaction.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, prior housekeeping experience preferred, and availability to work evenings and weekends. Delaware North offers a comprehensive benefits package and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Six months of housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform light cleaning duties around the hotel including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and restroom cleaning in both the front and back of the house
• Carry linens, towels, and supplies using wheeled carts
• Disinfect equipment and supplies using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas; distribute all recyclables into proper containers
• Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
