Job summary

Mercyhealth in Wisconsin is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, package, and dispense medications under the direction of a Pharmacist. The role includes IV preparation, inventory control, and operating automated dispensing systems.

The position is full-time evenings, 3 PM to 11:30 PM, with every-other-weekend requirements. Candidates must have a Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB/NHA certification.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy licensure required.
• PTCB or NHA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and packages medications (oral/IV) for dispensing systems.
• Retrieves, counts, and compounds drugs under pharmacist supervision.
• Delivers medications to nursing units and stock areas.
• Maintains inventory and monitors expiration dates.
• Operates and maintains pharmacy equipment and automation.
