Job summary

Mount Carmel is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant in Columbus, OH for an evening shift. You will provide daily cleaning and supply of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, laboratories, bathrooms, waiting areas, exam rooms, offices and other areas, following Environmental Services procedures.

Requirements include reading, basic math and writing skills, the ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Reading, basic math and writing skills required.
• Must be able to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions and understand English language.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods.
• Dust all surfaces that collect dust.
• Sanitize all furniture, and all points of patient contact, and spot clean walls and windows.
