Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, and common areas in a hospital setting. You will operate cleaning equipment, replenish supplies, and follow universal precautions while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, reliable attendance, and the ability to communicate in English. Work hours are typically 2:00pm–10:30pm with every third weekend, in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in environmental services or hospital cleaning preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures and chemical labels.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas per department schedules.
• Operate cleaning equipment following procedures.
