Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking an Evening Home Medication Information Technician to support the Home Medication History process. You will work under the Home Medication Information RN to gather accurate medication lists for admissions and ongoing care.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 1 year of retail pharmacy experience; hospital experience and IV admixture/chemotherapy prep are preferred. This on-site position offers a collaborative environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting is required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
• IV admixture experience and IV chemotherapy preparation experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Home Medication History Information Technician works under the direction of the Home Medication Information RN to help provide indirect patient care.
• Assist in obtaining the best list of home medications taken by the patient at admission or as needed.
• Ensure that the home medication information process is completed per policy.
