Job summary

Trinity Health Chelsea is seeking an Environmental Specialist to maintain a safe, clean hospital environment in accordance with Infection Control and regulatory standards. This part-time, evening-shift role requires adherence to safety policies and active participation in training and team initiatives.

Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, waste disposal, and reporting hazards. The role supports quality patient care and offers a path for growth within the Trinity Health

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to speak, read, and write English.
• Possesses basic math skills.
• Experience: Three months customer service or cleaning experience preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: Not required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning all surfaces.
• Disinfecting all surfaces.
• Dusting all surfaces.
• Replenishing all supplies.
• Spot cleaning carpet and upholstery.
• Cleaning up spills.
• Changing linen and making beds.
• Operating vacuum cleaning equipment.
• Dust mopping and damp mopping floors, stairs, and landings.
• Disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
