Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare is seeking a housekeeper at Primary Childrens Lehi to perform general housekeeping tasks that meet hospital standards. Duties include cleaning, disinfecting, waste disposal, and following infection prevention protocols in a fast-paced setting.

Flexible schedule required; shift is Friday through Monday, 3pm to 11:30pm, with evening/night/weekend differentials. Benefits eligible, strong safety practices emphasized.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication skills, including reading color-coded labels and following directions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as department needs require.
• Professional housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas following procedures.
• Properly dispose of infectious waste and trash.
• Follow infection prevention practices and PPE protocols.
• Maintain safe work and storage areas per policy.
• Handle and clean up emergency spills as required.
