Qualifications

• 3-5 years in environmental services/housekeeping with 1-2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
• Formalized training in environmental cleaning programs and safety methods preferred
• Knowledge of proper and safe chemical use and handling
• Computer skills for department software (HealthStream, Word, Excel, Outlook) helpful

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance and supervision of Environmental Services daily operations
• Schedule staff, conduct performance evaluations and organize training
• Inspect and ensure hospital cleanliness and safety standards
• Oversee repairs, equipment maintenance and supply orders as needed
• Supervise rounds and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
