Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an Environmental Services team member for the Evening Shift. You will perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary hospital environment and support patient care areas.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, cleaning patient rooms and offices, operating cleaning equipment, and following safety procedures. Qualifications include basic English literacy and 3+ months healthcare cleaning experience; physical

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and comprehend basic English.
• 3+ months of cleaning experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs safely.
• Requires working with cleaning chemicals in a safe manner.
• Must be able to perform repetitive cleaning motions.

Responsibilities

• Receive cleaning assignments and transport supplies to work areas.
• Clean assigned areas with germicidal solutions and buff floors.
• Strip and make beds with fresh linens; dispose of refuse.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and arrange furnishings after cleaning.
• Inspect area for cleanliness and report repairs as needed.
• Move furniture and equipment using carts or dollies.
