Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking an Environmental Service Attendant I for a Full Time, Evening position. The salary range is $19.29 – $29.59 per hour. This role is represented by a collective bargaining agreement and may have multiple openings.

This position entails cleaning and sanitizing rooms, floors, fixtures, and furnishings in assigned areas following established policies. You will also perform misc housekeeping duties such as replenishing supplies and assisting in hospital environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year formal housekeeping experience.
• Experience in hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
• Driver's license may be required.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas according to procedures; include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Set up furniture in conference rooms as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping cart, restock supplies, replace sharps containers, and order essential supplies.
• Respond to emergency cleaning needs in a timely manner.
• Communicate with clinical personnel to determine cleaning priorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
