Job summary

Goal Cleaning LLC is seeking a part-time Janitor/Custodian for the evening shift at our hospital facilities in Bensalem, PA. Flexible, in-person work with a focus on operating suites cleaning and waste handling. Base pay ranges from $14.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Applicants should have necessary driving access and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening. Healthcare cleaning experience is a plus and transportation to sites near 19020 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of housekeeping and infectious waste guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand or walk at least five hours per day.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds regularly.
• Ability to push/pull over 55 pounds regularly.
• Experience as a hospital janitor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for cleaning all Operating Suites and equipment.
• Follow established housekeeping guidelines and infection control rules.
• Bag and dispose of infectious waste following guidelines.
• Follow procedures for exposure to Category I tasks.
• Handle hazardous waste materials according to procedures.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions and work well with others.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of OR storage areas and supplies.
