Ridgeview Medical Center in Minnesota seeks an Evening Custodian to maintain carpeting and hard floors, and manage waste streams. Shifts run 1:00pm–9:30pm, every fifth weekend and holidays as needed.

The role requires attention to cleaning protocols and safe handling of materials. Responsibilities include vacuuming, shampooing carpets, floor refinishing, waste collection, and supporting a clean and safe patient environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions.
• Ability to communicate in English for effective written and verbal correspondence.
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment.
• Ability to perform strenuous work under time constraints.

Responsabilités

• Vacuum, shampoo and extract carpets.
• Performs major cleaning and refinishing of floors in assigned areas.
• Collects all general, recyclable, infectious and hazardous waste and disposes of according Ridgeview standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
