Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc. is seeking a full-time courier/driver to support the Laboratory Medicine department. You will drive hospital vehicles for courier routes and on-demand jobs, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining safety and documentation standards.

Responsibilities include route planning, pickup/delivery across labs and clinics, weather monitoring, and training new staff while upholding patient-care quality and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to use hospital communication tools.

Responsabilités

• Maintains schedule to complete routine and on-demand courier routes.
• Handles pick-ups and deliveries from lab, pharmacy, homecare, referring hospitals, clinics, physician offices and outpatient centers; documents route information per guidelines.
• Monitors weather conditions to preplan trips and delays.
• Maintains safety of cargo and vehicle per hospital guidelines.
• Assists in training of new staff and documents progress per guidelines.
• Provides customer service to ensure satisfaction and quality patient care.
