Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1 or more years of custodial experience.
• 2 or more years with one employer.
• Knowledge Requirements: measure/units (cup, pint, quart, ounce; inch, foot, yards).

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning procedures according to cleaning schedule meeting department quality standards.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cleaning procedures for all facility spaces (patient rooms, labs, corridors, etc.).
• Follows Infection Prevention and Control, HR and Safety policies; reports incidents.
• May perform project cleaning (scrub/strip/spray buff and burnish floors; shampoos carpet/furniture).
• Delivers clean linen and stocks linen carts to par levels.
• Removes soiled linen and trash; transports to storage or disposal areas.
• Keeps housekeeping cart/closet clean, restocks supplies, uses chemicals safely.
• Operates and maintains housekeeping equipment safely and reports safety hazards.
