Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Overland Park, KS is hiring a Housekeeper II to join our housekeeping team. You will clean patient rooms, offices, and common areas, and assist with turnover of spaces, following department procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include floor maintenance, dusting, mopping, stocking supplies, and, when needed, serving as Lead Housekeeper. A minimum of 2 years' housekeeping experience and a High School diploma or GED are preferred.

Position requires competencies of all duties associated with Housekeeper I position. SHIFT/SCHEDULE NEEDED: 9AM - 5:30PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Sunday will be 11AM - 7:30PM**Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions*** Cleans offices, patient rooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and other areas as needed.* Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, vents, mattresses, furniture, window coverings, floors and carpets.* Cleans by dusting, mopping, vacuuming and sweeping.* Performs supply distribution* Replenishes supplies.
