Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a PRN Food Service Associate for the cafeteria operations. You will manage cashiering, food preparation support, and maintain safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires availability Monday through Friday evenings (4:00pm-8:00pm) with PRN hours and every other weekend/holiday. Pay ranges from $17.50 to $21.50 per hour, with experience-dependent adjustments.

Qualifications

• High School or GED Equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team.
• Adherence to safety principles and confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Manage cafeteria areas including dish room, serving and dining areas, and cashiering.
• Operate cash terminal, print reports, and reconcile cash drawer totals.
• Record food temperatures and assist with health department records and audits.
• Assist with catering, restocking, and cleaning per department standards.
