Job summary

Interim HealthCare in South Carolina seeks a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for an evening shift 4:30pm-8:30am, Monday-Thursday. You will deliver patient-centered end-of-life care with empathy and clinical excellence, coordinating with the IDG and physicians to honor each patient’s dignity.

Requirements include an active SC RN license (or Compact) and at least 1 year of nursing experience; hospice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with an SC license or compact license.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Demonstrated compassion and strong communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient and family needs.
• Develop and revise plan of care with IDG, patient, and physician.
• Coordinate care among IDG members and external providers.
• Administer meds and treatments per nursing standards.
• Educate families on pain management and symptom control.
