Job summary

Home Is Where The Heart Is Home Care, LLC is seeking a compassionate CNA/STNA/CAREGIVER to provide one-on-one in-home care for clients in Akron, OH 44314. This part-time role offers evenings from 1 PM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for full-time as new clients come on.

Competitive hourly pay ranging from $20.00 to $24.00, paid weekly, and direct deposit are offered. Join our dedicated team to support independence and well-being in the comfort of clients' homes.

Qualifications

• CNA/STNA certification desired, but not needed.
• Experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient attitude towards clients.
• Willing to take drug test and background check.
• Reliable transportation, a clean driving record, along with a valid driver's license and car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Act quickly and responsibly in case of emergency
• Provide direct client care, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication reminders, transportation, companionship, and home exercise.
• Assist with personal grooming and hygiene tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, and mobility
• Laundry, light cleaning, and cooking
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client
• Keep accurate and detailed records of client care and progress
• Communicate effectively with clients, and healthcare team members, and management
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the company
