Job summary

Home Is Where The Heart Is Home Care, LLC in Wheeling, WV is seeking a compassionate CNA/STNA/CAREGIVER for one-on-one in-home care. This part-time role offers hourly pay between $20.00 and $24.00, with weekly direct deposit and the potential to grow to full-time as new clients come on.

You will assist daily living activities, provide medication reminders, transportation, companionship, and light housekeeping, while maintaining a safe, clean environment and accurate care records.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform all essential job functions and provide high-quality care.
• Experience with hoyer lift and in-home care equipment.
• CNA/STNA certification desired, but not required.
• Experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient attitude towards clients.
• Willing to take drug test and background check.
• Reliable transportation, a clean driving record, along with a valid drivers license and car insurance

Responsibilities

• Act quickly and responsibly in case of emergency
• Provide direct client care, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication reminders, transportation, companionship, and home exercise.
• Assist with personal grooming and hygiene tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, and mobility
• Laundry, light cleaning, and cooking
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client
• Keep accurate and detailed records of client care and progress
• Communicate effectively with clients, and healthcare team members, and management
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the company
