Qualifications

• One year of LSA experience in a high-complexity histology lab or equivalent hospital experience.
• ASCP Histotechnologist certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes and embeds tissue in paraffin and cuts paraffin blocks using microtomes.
• Stains tissue and evaluates stain quality.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; adheres to safety and quality control protocols.
