Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Maintenance Worker for an Evening, full-time role. The position performs basic maintenance tasks, supports in-house facility operations and ensures a safe healing environment for patients and staff.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, 6 months healthcare facility experience, and a valid driver’s license. Candidates should be able to operate hand tools and assist with HVAC, electrical and plumbing tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience in a healthcare facility.
• Driver's license required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve minor facility repair requests for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fixtures.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and building rounds.
• Assist engineers/carpenters with corrective maintenance and installations.
• Operate building equipment to maintain safe, code-compliant environment for patients and staff.
• Document work orders and maintenance history.
