Allina Health is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean and safe care environment. You will clean patient rooms, operating areas, and public spaces, while handling waste and linen according to health care standards. The role supports a healing environment and contributes to patient experience.

Position details include 0.5 FTE (40 hours per two-week pay period) with 8-hour evening shifts and an every-other-weekend rotation. Union contracts and benefits support your wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with education and/or experience to meet required competencies
• 0–2 years of environmental services experience or high school diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and disinfects all areas of the health care facility.
• Maintains cleanliness of patient rooms, operating rooms, exam rooms, treatment rooms, care centers and public areas.
• Collects and transports solid and infectious waste within the health care facility.
• May stock clean linen in linen room and departments.
