Job summary

Resilience Behavioral Health Georgia is seeking a Group Facilitator to lead daytime therapeutic and psychoeducational groups at our Peachtree City facility. You will work with the clinical team to reinforce coping and recovery skills, supporting each client's treatment plan.

This part-time, on-site evening role runs Monday–Friday from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM and is paid per group. A Master's degree and GA group-counseling credentials are required, along with 1–2 years of relevant experience and HIPAA

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Credentialed to provide group counseling in Georgia (APC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, AMFT, LMFT, etc.).
• Ability to work under clinical supervision per credential held.
• 1–2 years of experience in group facilitation or behavioral health.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality.
• Strong facilitation, de-escalation, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in applying coping, communication, and recovery skills during sessions, and monitor group dynamics, escalating concerns as needed.

Resilience Behavioral Health Georgia provides behavioral health treatment services at its Peachtree City facility. The organization is building its clinical team of group facilitators to support daytime programming.

The Opportunity

As a Group Facilitator, you will lead structured therapeutic and psychoeducational groups for clients in the daytime clinical program. This role works closely with the clinical team to support each client's treatment plan, reinforce coping and recovery skills, and maintain a safe, structured group environment. This position is paid on a per-group basis for facilitators who prefer flexible, session-based scheduling.

This is a part-time, on-site evening position, Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM , paid on a per-group basis.

What You'll Do

• Plan and lead daytime therapeutic and psychoeducational groups for clients, following the program's curriculum and treatment approach.


• Support clients in applying coping, communication, and recovery skills during sessions, and monitor group dynamics, escalating concerns to clinical leadership as needed.


• Document attendance, participation, and clinical observations in the EMR in a timely manner.

Requirements

Required

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field.


• Credentialed to provide group counseling in Georgia. Qualifying credentials generally include licensure as an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) through the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists (O.C.G.A. § 43-10A); or an addiction counseling certification such as CADC-II or CAADC through the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Certification Board of Georgia (ADACBGA) or the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA).


• Ability to work within scope of practice and under any clinical supervision structure required for the credential held.


• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in group facilitation or a behavioral health treatment setting, ideally with dual diagnosis populations.


• Working knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements.


• Strong group facilitation, de-escalation, and documentation skills.


• Daytime, on-site availability at the Peachtree City, Georgia facility.

Preferred

• Prior experience facilitating groups in a PHP, IOP, or other licensed behavioral health setting treating co-occurring disorders.


• Familiarity with evidence-based group curricula such as CBT, DBT skills groups, or Seeking Safety.

Compensation: $75.00 per group facilitated.

This is a part-time, on-site evening position, Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM , paid on a per-group basis.
