Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Clinton, MA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Geriatric Medical-Psych Unit on the Evening shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM). This 32-hour per week position is on-site with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

The role requires a MA RN license, 2–3 years of experience preferred, and a BSN is preferred. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the care team, and participate in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Massachusetts RN license required at time of hire.
• 2–3 years nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and manage direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Document patient assessments and plans in medical records; use SBAR for handoffs.
• Serve as charge nurse when requested and mentor staff.
