Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a General Labor/ Machine Operator for a Moody, AL manufacturing site. This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire role requiring standing and walking on concrete, handling ingredients, operating equipment, and performing repetitive tasks while maintaining food safety and quality.

The position runs Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm with pay between $17.00 and $18.50 per hour and a benefits package including medical/dental/vision and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to learn and operate automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Must be able to perform production activities with attention to food safety and quality.
• Must follow metal detector / CCP procedures when required.
• Must handle raw ingredients and finished blends using correct item numbers and codes.
• Must palletize finished products and assist with loading/unloading materials.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate manufacturing equipment including baggers, bottlers, blenders, labelers and conveyors.
• Perform production tasks such as filling bottles, bags, boxes, and bulk containers.
• Adhere to food safety, quality standards and CCP procedures.
• Move materials, palletize, and assist with shipment preparation.
• Report any food safety, quality, contamination or safety concerns.
