Job summary

SERVPRO Team Dobson is seeking an Evening General Cleaner to support Youngstown State University facilities. This role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming spaces through routine janitorial tasks and reliable service.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and can work both independently and as part of a team, following schedules and company procedures to ensure high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic.

• Effective communication skills.
• Must possess a valid government-issued photo ID.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation required for employment verification.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, and mop hard-surface floors.
• Vacuum carpeted areas.
• Dust desks, furniture, workstations, and other surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, countertops, mirrors, partitions, walls and floors.
• Restock restroom supplies, including paper products and soap.
• Clean entrance doors, glass surfaces, and interior windows.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Report building maintenance concerns and equipment issues to supervisors.
• Follow assigned cleaning schedules and company procedures.
• Work effectively and professionally as part of a team.

SERVPRO Team Dobson is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Evening General Cleaner to join our team at Youngstown State University. As an Evening General Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of university facilities by performing routine janitorial and custodial services. Successful candidates are dependable, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality results.

Physical Requirements

• Remain on your feet for the duration of the shift
• Walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, push, and pull regularly
• Perform repetitive cleaning tasks safely and efficiently
• Lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies as needed
• Safely operate standard custodial equipment and cleaning products

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM | No overtime required
