Job summary

Backcountry is seeking an experienced Fulfillment Center Retail Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our fulfillment center. You will lead a team of associates, coach them on the floor, and ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders.

This role reports to the Team Operations Manager and requires proficiency with the Warehouse Management System and MS Excel, plus strong communication to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months experience in fulfillment center.
• 3 months experience as a Merchandise Processor.
• English language proficiency (verbal and written).
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and instructions.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload to meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle the pressure of meeting production schedules.
• Computer skills including internet and email.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive influence on the team.
• Direct employees to maintain workflow and prioritize fulfillment.
• Spend 90% of time coaching on the floor with employees; 10% on clerical tasks.
• Proficient in department SOPs and production planning.
• Meet production schedules by planning and prioritizing fulfillment/customer needs.
• Read, audit labels and use the Warehouse Management System and MS Excel.
• Prepare end-of-day reports and communicate via Outlook.
• Train new employees and log issues in Jira for resolution.
