Job summary

The Don CeSar, a landmark resort on St. Pete Beach, seeks a Front Office Night Manager to supervise the evening and overnight Front Office operations. You will empower staff to deliver outstanding guest service while ensuring audits are met and departmental budgets stay on target.

Qualifications

• College level reasoning, math, and language skills.
• Two years prior departmental management experience in front office or related disciplines.
• Time management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead each discipline of the department independently.
• Ability to manage according to employment and Innkeeper laws of the jurisdiction.
• Prior cash handling experience necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Computer experience required.
• No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others.

Responsibilities

• Assure property operation meets internal audit standards.
• Coordinate guest and group transportation needs.
• Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics to meet standards.
• Maintain work area neat and organized.
• Monitor payroll hours and reports.
• Promote employee empowerment.
• Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
• Select, train, supervise, schedule, develop, discipline, and counsel employees according to policies.
• Complete other duties and cross training as assigned.
• Complete reports and paperwork (forecasts, budgets, etc.).
• Coordinate VIP transportation to and from the hotel.
• Coordinate delivery of amenities.
• Coordinate arrival/departure of tour and organized groups.
• Oversee dry cleaning pickup/delivery.
• Conduct performance appraisals.
