Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) in Kansas City, KS is hiring a Freight Handler for the 4pm–12am shift. This safety-sensitive role loads and unloads freight from trailers using a forklift, pallet jack, or handcart and requires proper training and certification to operate equipment.

You will track freight with handheld scanners, identify and stage inbound shipments, and verify freight quality while maintaining safety, efficiency, and customer service in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of verifiable forklift experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or hand carts.
• Use handheld scanners to track and document freight.
• Identify, sticker, and stage inbound freight.
• Verify the condition of freight to ensure quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
