Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) in Denver, CO is seeking a Freight Handler for the 2pm–Midnight shift. This safety-sensitive role requires operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and handcarts to load and unload trailers while maintaining productivity and accuracy.

You will scan freight with handheld devices, stage inbound shipments, and verify conditions to meet quality standards. The position offers steady hours, benefits, and a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 90 pounds.
• Six months of verifiable forklift experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or hand cart.
• Use handheld scanners to track and document freight through our network.
• Identify, sticker, and stage inbound freight.
• Verify the condition of freight to assure quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
