Job summary

Mercer Milling Company is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operations Associate in New York for either full-time or part-time hourly roles. The position supports shipping/receiving, forklift operation, and warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment to ensure accurate, timely handling of pre-mix dairy feed products.

The role reports to the Assistant Plant Manager, QA, with input from quality, supply chain, nutrition, and leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year warehouse and forklift experience.
• Forklift certification per NY state or ability to pass.
• OSHA safety compliance experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP in warehouse environment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and managers to meet expectations and solve problems.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties to meet customer order specifications.
• Operate forklift and warehouse equipment to weigh, palletize, and move product.
• Follow all policies and SOPs to ensure timeliness, accuracy and quality of product.
• Document activities as required.
• Maintain safety by monitoring equipment condition and house-keeping, and perform related duties as assigned.
