Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler in Lancaster, PA. This role supports warehouse operations including loading, unloading, picking, packing, and forklift handling in a fast-paced environment.

Labor is performed on a 2-2-3 schedule with a 6:00pm–6:00am shift, offering weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid forklift license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to be a team player in a diverse environment.
• Punctual with good attendance; dependable and accurate.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse setting (e.g., packing lists, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production shifts.
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
