Job summary

Fresh Express in Illinois is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move materials using a forklift, walker or hand jack and to pick and load orders using the Voice system. The role emphasizes proper product rotation and safe, efficient warehouse operations.

The position requires weekend/holiday availability, basic math, and bilingual English/Spanish or English/Polish, with a high school diploma. Prior warehouse and Voice-picking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Basic math skills required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish and/or English/Polish.
• Forklift certification strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma highly desirable.
• Food industry experience a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Past experience in Voice order picking environment.
• Past experience working in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect powered jacks/powered trucks for operating conditions and safety.
• Operate powered jacks/powered trucks.
• Comply with SOPs, Safety, and Fresh Express policies.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and efficient workflow for assignments.
• Execute all documentation required for the function.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area including dock areas and coolers.
• Communicate with supervisors, clerks, production, and QA as needed.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness.
• Use Voice system to pick and load orders.
