Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator in Laredo, Texas to join a safety‑minded team. This full‑time role involves operating forklifts, loading/unloading trailers, and moving materials within a non‑climate‑controlled warehouse. New hire orientation is projected for August; schedule is Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm – 12:00 am, with weekends/holidays as required. Base rate is $21.63 per hour.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work overtime or weekends as required.
• Complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trailers
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distributes items to production workers or assembly line
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
