Job summary

Connection is seeking a Material Handler to operate a powered forklift and efficiently locate inbound products within the receiving department and storage locations. The role includes stock transfers inside the facility, moving completed Work Orders to the Configuration Lab, and pulling Work Orders into the lab while performing cycle counts.

The position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow directions, and safe operation of forklifts.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge with data entry skills.
• Proficient with RF scanning equipment and house software.
• Attention to detail in processing inbound product.
• Basic math aptitude for counts and quantities.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions.
• Effective communication with coworkers.
• Demonstrates initiative and willingness to take on additional tasks.
• Good safety performance.

Responsibilities

• Accurately stocks inbound products in valid warehouse locations using forklifts.
• Records the correct quantity stocked.
• Applies UPCs as required when locating product.
• Meets material handling deadlines.
• Coordinates inter-department transfers of inventory for Value Add production teams using a forklift.
• Researches and resolves product shortages in picking locations.
• Performs cycle counts to validate inventory integrity.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
