Job summary

Clean Harbors in Mason, MI is seeking a Forklift Operator to load, unload, and move materials and equipment across inbound and outbound docks. The role supports fast, safe turnaround with attention to detail and team collaboration.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year forklift/warehouse experience, and a valid driver’s license; forklift certification is preferred. Expect a daytime shift with potential overtime based on volumes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in forklift or industrial warehouse environment.
• Valid driver's license; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move barrels, freight, and materials.
• Inspect barrels, freight, and materials for damage during loading/unloading.
• Use RF scanner to scan and track materials.
• Enter and update inventory and shipment information in Excel and WMS.
• Safely load and unload trailers and trucks.
• Move and stage materials in correct storage areas.
• Follow all safety procedures around trucks and equipment.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and safe.
