Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services in Garrett, IN is seeking a Material Handler to join the warehouse team for a ~3 month temporary assignment with potential direct hire at the end. Shift is 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, pay is $19.00/hour.

Responsibilities include packing, staging shipments, forklift operation, and ensuring accurate labeling while maintaining records. Candidates must have warehouse/shipping experience, be able to lift up to 50 lb occasionally, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Previous shipping or warehouse experience is required.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 25–35 pounds continuously, and less than 25 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and stage outgoing shipments according to customer requirements and shipping schedules.
• Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Verify contents of shipments, ensure accurate labeling, and inspect materials for damage.
• Maintain accurate records of shipping transactions, pallets, counts, and finished goods.
• Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines during the shipping process.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to resolve any discrepancies or quality concerns.
