Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Food Services Worker at Kishwaukee Hospital to support patient and cafeteria operations in the 3:30-9:00 PM shift. The role involves preparing cold items, taking room service orders, and assembling trays while maintaining safety, sanitation, and documentation standards.

Excellent customer service and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential, with alternating weekends and rotating holidays as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic cash handling.

Responsabilités

• Prepares cold food items for patients and cafeteria.
• Take Room Service orders including employee/patient/family initiated orders and those patients needing assistance.
• Complete tray assembly.
• Ensures food meets all safety and sanitary regulations and completes all required documentation.
• Maintains a safe, clean, neat and orderly cooking area.
• Completes daily position checklists, cleaning duties and all required documentation.
