Job summary

Harrington Park Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated evening dietary aide to support meal preparation and service for patients. You will assist cooks, prepare nourishments, and help maintain a clean dining and kitchen area while following infection control policies.

The role offers weekly pay, a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, 401(k) with match, and paid holidays. HS diploma preferred; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups.

Responsibilities

• Assists cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Assists cook in preparation of meals.
• Carries trays to patients on halls.
• Cleans tables in the dining area after each meal.
• Helps with salads and desserts and other dishes.
• Prepares between-meal nourishments (sandwiches, etc.).
• Cleans kitchen area and equipment after shifts.
• Records temperatures for freezer and walk-in refrigerators as required.
